Brussel Spaceship appeared in 1985, evolved over 7 years and supplied us with 7 records. So why has this website just appeared?
Well, the thing is - Brussel Spaceship were brilliant. They played a national sold-out college tour, headlined a rainy festival in Dorset and wrote some fundamentally brilliant songs. The only problem was, this was back in the days when analogue cassette tapes were the distribution media of choice, car tape-decks the player of choice and hot glove-boxes the storage area of choice.
What this means is, you can't get hold of these records any more because they are either treasured possessions or
unrecognisably damaged. Fear not, we aim to preserve some of these tracks by sticking them on this site in safe and tidy
digital format. Already available in the top left-hand corner are some of the gems from their final tape, "Slowdown",
released in 1992. Notable tracks include (but obviously aren't limited to) "Florescent Hat" and "Going Home".
